The River of Souls

I do hope that Muldoon returns in future novels. He has a lot of promise as a supporting character. While not quite as intriguing as Providence Rider, this series continues to be strong in both characterization and mystery. I was a bit unhappy with the twist toward the end regarding Daniel's return, but I liked the coincidence that changed that situation at the end and I was shocked by the knife incident in Daniel's home. Having read the description of Freedom of the Mask, I'm excited to see where McCammon takes this series.
