If the first book was Taniel's, this one is Tamas'. He gets back to what he's best at: being a superb general.
I wish we'd seen a bit more of Ka-Poel, but pretty happy with the Privileged magic secrets being revealed either way.
I'd recommend this to all Sanderson lovers. Given that there are three medium size books and a few optional short stories, it is a nice choice.
