Little substance and repetitive

For a book that supposedly would change the way I listen to music, I found it too long, rambling and unsubstantial. I'm a music geek - maybe not as much as the author - and I've gone through most of what he retells, so I don't see much depth or enlightenment. In the end I got bored and dropped it.
