I'm down with JCP (yeah... ) Seriously, she is in my top 3 favorite authors. I'm pretty fickle about the other 7 in the top 10, depending on what I'm reading but my top 3 are pretty consistent. Right now, she's at #1 of 3, though I have been reading 3 of her books at once lately so that might have something to do with it. Maybe she's not everyone's cup o tea, though I personally can't imagine why. :)
This BOOK, which I'm ashamed to say has been languishing in my TBR pile for a while now, rocked it all. I will never be able to sit through another corporate team building exercise without thinking of this story. It's going into my reread this when you need to fortify yourself pile. Books like this, authors like this, they feed my soul.
My only nitpick was that it seemed to wrap up too quickly, though I have been spoiled by the indulgence of having a series of books from her in the past to swim through so I have to adjust my expectations for a standalone. Would love to see a spin-off (or a sit-com) of 7 people living in Tim's apartment. Maybe in hammocks.
Also, Gomez Pugh rocks the audiobook.
