Mi primera lectua de Isabel Allende

Se nota claramente la influencia de "100 años de Soledad" de Gabriel GarcĂ­a MĂĄrquez en este libro. Eso para mi es algo muy bueno, considerando que el de GarcĂ­a MĂĄrquez es uno de mis libros favoritos de la vida. En la parte de "realismo" del realismo mĂĄgico, siendo latinoamericano y particularmente chileno, uno se siente identificado con una realidad existiĂł y que aĂșn existe. Formas de pensar y de vivir, y los terribles acontecimientos ocurridos durante la dictadura cĂ­vico-militar. "La Casa de Los EspĂ­ritus" no alcanza a estar al nivel de la gran obra de Marquez, pero creo que estĂĄ solo un pequeño peldaño por debajo.

Wispy pink clouds pop out of a dark background. The brightest and largest cloud is offset from centre to the lower left. A cloud ridge cuts vertically through the centre of the frame, with a large bright blue-white spot in the middle. To the right of the image are three smaller clouds. Dotted across the image are blue, orange and white points of varying size and brightness.

Achievement unlocked! The first 18 segments of the primary mirror of ESO's Extremely Large are on their way to đŸ‡šđŸ‡±

The huge 39.3 m mirror of the telescope will comprise 798 of these hexagonal segments, plus 133 spares, as we'll eventually have to remove a couple of them every day to recoat them with a reflective layer.

Pica Glass is an (impact glass) that is found in 's Atacama Desert.

It is the result of a Pleistocene-era cometary airburst explosion. Like a much older that happened approx. 14,000 years ago and may have been witnessed by primitive humans.

This slaggy material is mostly glassy melt with inclusions that are a mix of the original and terrestrial rock from the target zone.
