A story for our times. The Authors note at the end and 'solastalgia' commends this book regardless of the writers skill.
Subject matter poignant, sensitively handled and human. Writing style... alliteration 'top-heavy' for me. But, it's up for an award and purely a personal critique. Won't argue with it's merits!
