"Not as good as the first two but a satisfying ending to the story.

I really struggled to get to know the newish characters. I had to go back and review the story of The Thunderhead to remember who Grayson Tolliver was. Of the various stories going on in this book, the story of The Toll was the least interesting. I like the character, but considering he's the title character, he seemed to really only be a background guy.

My favorite part of the story is the series of iterations the Thunderhead creates and deletes to get to a result it needs. I didn't see the result it needed ahead of time, but it mostly made sense. It did create a plot hole, but I choose to ignore it. :)

In the end, this is a satisfying novel for anyone having read the series; however, the first half drags to the point that I almost stopped reading it. So, be aware that there is a lot to get through before things start really moving forward."
