More Rivers. Except this is about German rivers. I see this as a kind of mirror to the first novel. It introduces the German magical set up which has broad similarities with the English one set up in the novels to date. The main plot of chasing down a revenant is also a call back to the first novel. A quick and satisfying read. Clearly setting up the German side of things is going to be relevant for the next novel. Recommended.
