I decided to keep on keeping on with this series which was a wise decision, I think. This expands into an urban fantasy riff on Aztec mythology which is a nice departure from the usual Judeo-Christian eschatology in the genre. Tight, taut and you get a sense of someone compromised by his own sense of trying to do right as much as by his failings.
An enjoyable read and recommended.
