This was very, very good. Definitely a 4.5 more than a 4. The author clearly owes much to the work of Graeber (Debt) and he takes that academic basis and expands it to a near future dystopia that is all too believable. This fair zinged along, using the classic structure of a romance novel to drive the telling. The characters may have been a little lightly drawn but I still related to them. Definitely recommended.
