This was, interesting. It wasn't great, hence only 3 stars but it was a fascinating premise with some strong characters. It was a novel created via the Kindle Serials programme and that was its weakness. The join between each part was awkward and as such the whole thing didn't flow cleanly as a novel. Still, Ms McGuire is an excellent writer and the pages still turned easily.
