again, this author has disappointed me.
he does such a good job of the minutia of life, small hidden truths buried in the larger scope, but his larger plot - again - failed to impress me: heavy-handed religion ruins both the atheist and the converted, until a sudden convergence of ideas (bye-bye god) brings the 2 leads together...
