ah the easy joy of a paperback! enough people bought the book in the first place so a mass market PB was ordered up, and it did not disappoint. well, except the near ending was a tad too contrived (in-laws that didn't try to contact their grandson except for the birth? a bastard baby placed in their care without the prime suspect's wife being informed?)
but mostly this was the very definition of a summer read. I'll definitely be getting more by this author.
