Deliciously sticky dark. My favorite is the beautiful concept of the tattoo artist binding a ghost to a person's skin through the inking of the memorial tattoo. Though this one is a little different flavor than I've grown to expect from this author, I am never ever disappointed with Rhys Ford. This story almost felt like a prequel to the Kai Gracen world, which I'm currently listening to the audio book, so maybe that's why I'm drawing similarities...
