Another delightful time-travel adventure. I was happy to return to the Racoons and Rabbit Holes series with Book 4, Puppies and Portals. The latest entry features all of the hallmarks you've come to expect from this series - adventure, humor, heart and a well told historical lesson. Time twists both forward and back in this one with a visitor from the future joining Amy, Will and Leah on a trip to the past. The children and the readers learn about a lesser known chapter of American history through an exciting, engaging adventure story. Young readers and their parents will cherish the Racoons and Rabbit Holes books and Puppies and Portals is another wonderful entry in the series.
