Really didn’t enjoy the style of this book, the short interviews with lots of different characters meant that no one received any development and I didn’t get to ‘know’ any of them as a result. I can see what the author was trying to do by telling the story from lots of different viewpoints, and it does help with the idea that this is a global problem, but there was no consistent narrative as a result. I know a lot of people rave about this book and give it 4 or even 5 stars, but the style doesn’t work for me.
