I quite liked this novel, although I did find things were a little disjointed and hard to connect. Every character seemed to be a bit cut off from everyone else and although it made the story more interesting, it didn't really give a great sense of unity to the plot.

Still, fencing isn't my cup of tea, so looking at more from this author is most definitely on the cards.
