Though the ending was substantially predictable, it didn't detract from the warmth and empathy lacing the pages. I still hold that [b:Frameshift|264941|Frameshift|Robert J. Sawyer|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1173249048s/264941.jpg|256848] is my favourite Sawyer novel but this trilogy, though short, was captivating enough.
