(Unabridged audiobook)

I thoroughly enjoyed this interesting way of describing experiences of Asian Americans, both new immigrants and people of Asian descent born into American citizenship, and why/how they can find themselves labelled as Asian first and American second. The device of using a "central casting" lens was very entertaining and informative.
This tracked as 4.5 most of the way through, and only dropped to 4 at the end, when the author (or his editor?) felt obliged to explicitly spell out the "roman à clef".
