beautiful and moving and bursting with hope and generosity. an immigrant tale told with no words where the new world is fantastical and bewildering. and each immigrant, in turn, becomes a chain of solidarity and comfort... a far cry from the sad, bad tales we tell ourselves about our current xenophobia. yes it's probably unrealistic but isn't this tale of hope inspirational?
