As others have mentioned, it feels like reading a long Cosmo article, but the autobiographical value of Block's experience outweighs the dumbed-down form and style of the text. To those who claim that open marriages never work out, here is a married woman with a daughter who was able to open up her marriage in a way that was healthy and beneficial to everyone involved.
