Odd one this. Still very good and a decent 4 star read. However, it felt like two books going on. The 'hero' deals with being the devil and then getting out of Hell. Then a new big bad is introduced with a half book plot to keep things moving. There is one excellent riff about how Hell is despair for all of its inhabitants that does really hit home though. Still recommending.
