The collection of stereo cards is the real point of this boxed set.

An interesting collection of stereo cards, fairly nicely reproduced, with an included metal viewer -- those are the main attractions here. When I look at candid street photography in three dimensions, it really makes me feel like a time traveler.
The book is secondary to the stereo views, but even so, it's not bad.
