I really enjoyed this book, but I'm not sure it's as good as the first one. I should read the first one again to make a decision.

First, I am surprised by the number of times this book made me laugh out loud. Seriously, it isn't a funny book, but some of the character interactions and one-liners are gold.

The structure of this novel is pretty engaging in itself: the two main characters narrate alternating chapters and as they get separated for a while, their points of view allow us to see two parts of the story without an omniscient narrator. The author does a great job of creating unique voices for Jane and Katherine. While they are friends in this book, they are very different people, and this comes through not only in what they say but how they say it.
