Snapshot

Brandon Sanderson is clearly a machine impostor from the realm of Constant Writing. The thing is, he rarely delivers a stinker. His novellas are always worth a purchase and this didn't disappoint. Interesting twist on the cop/detective genre and I didn't see the ending coming at all. Definitely recommended.l

Even in short form, Sanderson's able to draw distinct and unique characters. I can't admit to being surprised by the ending (if you're putting people into a fake world, how long before you see that coming?) but even knowing, in outline, how things were going down, it was a pretty captivating quick read.
