A great cozy mystery

I always look forward to these books. They are reliably funny, engaging, warm and with a good, old fashioned mystery to engage the little grey cells. I always look forward to finding out what is happening to the characters that feel more and more like old friends. This book did not disappoint and I look forward to the next book to see what happens next!

Finally got book 2!!!

Can't remember the last time I was this excited to read the next book in a trilogy.

The Three-Body Problem was PHENOMENAL. Some of the best mind-bendy sci-fi I've ever read. I absolutely LOVED it.

Been on hold for Book 2 at the library for what feels like forever (2 weeks I think, lol). Even the e-books were gone.

Several people have told me Book 2 is even better than the first and I just know it's gonna be good!!!

The Three-Body Problem by Cixin Liu. The book cover is done in shades of blue and depicts the tiny figure of a man walking towards a pyramid. Above it are three celestial bodies orbiting the outline of a planet. Superimposed over that is the title of the book in bold yellow block print. The author's name is in large white print at the top of the cover. Taken together the cover perfectly encapsulates the science fiction, intrigue and mind-bending nature of the novel.
The Dark Forest by Cixin Liu. Hardcover public library copy. The cover is done in shades of purple and black. It appears to depict several planets in space, although I've not yet read it so I don't know the symbolism. The title of the book is in orange block print and is superimposed over the outline of what I assume is a large planet (based on the plot of the first book). Side note: I'm holding the book in my left hand and my thumb is just visible on the left side of the book. What doesn't show is my hand shaking. The thing's a beast. My hands are small and the book is so heavy I nearly dropped it trying to take a picture lol.
