Long time reader right from early childhood on. Can still remember what the Dewey Decimal system and card catalog files are. :) Mostly fiction, SF, historical, some military. Very limited horror.
Moved list from Goodreads early Feb 2023. Looks like I started using that in 2016. List is so not complete.

Working my way through Mr Hillerman’s books , some for the second time. There is an interesting who dun-it, but the best part is the continuation of the Chee - Leaphorn dynamic with some other stuff thrown in.
Definitely helps to have read previous books.

I learned quite a bit from this book. I guess whatever WWII tv show set in North Africa with jeeps driving all over might not have been completely accurate . Seriously this delved into the normal this happened but what I really liked was the people he described and the infighting.

This is #6 in the DS Cross series, and as it started I wasn't sure if I wanted to read another. ( I try to space series books so I don't get tired of them ) It took a bit but there were some changes that come from the author putting some space or time in. Some new characters and an interesting stuff.
I ended up really liking this one.
