An oldie from the late 70's. still good. hard to put down

I liked it and especially the parts where we hear what Leaphorn and Chee think of each other.

60 year old book. 3 week wait for a library e-book. wow

Still weird and hard to keep up with and what the heck is really happening. Still, I came back for book 4 and as much as I tried to walk away I couldn't. That's why the 4 stars .
Oh and Jerry of course.

Book 3 could have been ho-hum. But it went in an interesting direction. And helpmeet understand a bit more on book 2 , which I probably should have re-read before this. But there was explanation enough.

I can not believe I made it through all 4 books.

I’m not sure why I’m still reading this It’s like a car wreck you can look away from. Or in this case put down. Onward to book 4

I went back and re-read the two previous books to this one. That was helpful to me to know what was happening. Interesting (redacted) stuff.

Recently re-read this. Something I had come across talking about the album Revolver made me come back to this. Still a very enjoyable and well done stroll through this time period.

this is a group of characters that I'm not sure are all that likable. But interesting and a time period I have not read much. bat saying the above I couldn't put it down. have to find more of the author's books.
