I liked it and especially the parts where we hear what Leaphorn and Chee think of each other.

Long time reader right from early childhood on. Can still remember what the Dewey Decimal system and card catalog files are. :)
Mostly fiction, SF, historical, some military. Very limited horror.
Moved list from Goodreads early Feb 2023. Looks like I started using that in 2016. List is so not complete.

Still weird and hard to keep up with and what the heck is really happening. Still, I came back for book 4 and as much as I tried to walk away I couldn't. That's why the 4 stars .

Book 3 could have been ho-hum. But it went in an interesting direction. And helpmeet understand a bit more on book 2 , which I probably should have re-read before this. But there was explanation enough.

this is a group of characters that I'm not sure are all that likable. But interesting and a time period I have not read much. bat saying the above I couldn't put it down. have to find more of the author's books.
