About a third of the way through this book I nearly stopped reading it and read several other books in between reading this. I found it a hard read but the ending made it worthwhile persevering as it is an interesting concept. I may have reacted badly to this book as I'm not a city girl and as such I found it difficult to connect to the characters also I discovered I know very little about New York
