The title is perfect. I had expected a book how to be a better scout, but it is a book about how to get in the mindset of being a better scout. Julia Galef illustrates her points with tonnes of anecdotes and snippets from the internet, which wouldn't hold up to make proper rational arguments, but are perfect to illustrate her point and paint the picture.
