By the way, at no point did the detective (or Keeler) realize that the murderer couldn't have been a midget disguised as a baby dangling from a hovering autogiro -- BECAUSE AUTOGIROS CAN'T HOVER!
(Other than that, it's a perfectly logical method of murdering someone.)
