Read this a second time and read it even quicker than before. The first time I loved it and thought the protagonist was very clever. The second time I realised it's easy to be very clever when the author's writing in a lot of perfect hidden knowledge for him. It strains credulity several times, but I do like competency porn, which is basically what this is.
