Honestly, the more I read this book, the more disappointing it is. To be clear, it's thematic, it's still very cosy, if you like the others, you'll like this one. Loose ends are tied up, characters finish their arcs. But there is no feel of risk at all. The big bad is "an independent person will now choose whether good or evil wins". Literally afterwards the question is asked "doesn't everyone prefer good over evil?" and is told "well how do you tell which is which?". The clue is, one side has been torturing people to death for fun.

It's a really weird ending to the ten-book arc. It also starts the "there was never any doubt about the end of book five, it was always going to be fine" which undermines the first sequence.
