Nice. Really nice. As I suspected from the first book, the author has really grown into his setting. This fair rollicked along. It had adventure, laughs, pathos and that indefinable 'I am enjoying this' quality. Straight up, old school space opera. So, nothing ground breaking here. You know what though? Not everything needs to break new ground. A good story, well told. One doesn't ask for more.
