"St. Paul officials are sending letters to 32,000 people this week alerting them that their medical debt will be erased.

Residents didn’t have to apply to be eligible. Instead, the city analyzed resident incomes and debt levels and prioritized those with the highest need.

By using federal American Rescue Plan funds, the city paired with the nonprofit, Undue Medical Debt, and M Health Fairview to wipe out $40 million in medical obligations."

Doctors insisted on two ultrasounds to confirm “fetal demise.”

She’s one of at least two Texas women who died under the state’s ban.

I read this article with increasing disquiet.
Health Secretary Wes Streeting (who, let us not forget, has accepted massive donations from private healthcare interests) is planning to make all our confidential patient information accessible to all 1.5m NHS workers, not just those treating us at the time. This will no doubt include privatised NHS branded companies.

That sound is Palantir rubbing its grubby hands..
