It's a little slower at the start than I would like, and dense, but so good once it gets going...
The book deals mith such complex topics in an incredibly well written story. I read the first part of the 1831 version and then switched to the 1818 version (I read all three parts) and both versions are intriguing. Itβs going to be in my Spooky Season list!
An interesting read and not totally what I expected. The style is of its time, but it's not as much of a horror as you think.
